Tuesday 7/12/2022 - Day 31 of 31 on our 2022 Canadian Maritime #2 Caravan with Yankee RV Tour

The last morning of any caravan or rally is always a tough one for me. Before I get all mushy, yes I walked!

Charlie and I stayed here in 2017, when we met Andy & Rejeanne Cormier, before we headed north to their place in New Brunswick. But it has had many upgrades.

It's a chance to say "See ya Later"... I don't like to say good-bye!

But, some caravanners will travel on other caravans or attend a rally. Some came on the adventure, enjoyed it but will not go on another one. Sometimes people learn that caravanning is just not for them. Whatever they decide to do, is fine... If they don't travel again, I will just missing traveling with them!

I hope that everyone on this caravan enjoyed it as much as we did and they will enjoy other adventures with Yankee RV Tours!

We had a simple continental breakfast with most the rigs. Two rigs wanted to get an early start. I was walking and did get to see them both. I know we will see them again! I never did get pictures at the breakfast, I am really slipping! But I did get pictures as rigs started to get ready to leave!

There are four of the caravanners, plus us that will end up at Oak Bay Campground for an overnight in New Brunswick. We are only traveling with one rig from here to Oak Bay.

I can say it was truly a blessing and privilege to work with great wagon masters, Gary & Sheryl Lalonde. They are the best pair to lead a group anywhere!

We were so fortunate to have the best group of caravanners. From the first day they met, each of them had a genuine concern for their fellow travelers. They cared about the other guests and worked hard to ensure everyone was included in everything we did.

I believe that we all made lifelong bonds and friendships with these travelers!

#1 - Lother & Jacky  - They came all the way from California to enjoy the Canadian Maritimes with us. They wanted to meet new friends, see the Atlantic Coast of Canada and see a Moose. We were able to check 2 of their 3 off the list! We are still looking for that allusive Moose!

#2 - George & Chelle - George was looking forward to meeting people and Chelle wanted to see the wild rabbits of Newfoundland. Well, one out of two is not bad!
At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were the staff and Prince Edward Island. No, none of the staff put George up to that!

#3 - Bill & Barbara - Bill was looking forward to the Bay of Fundy Tidal Bore and Barbara wanted to see the Atlantic Provinces. We got two of two for these two! At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were the Tattoo, The Reversing Falls and seeing a moose.

#4 - Dennis & Charlotte - Dennis wanted to "check Canadian Maritimes" off his bucket list. Charlotte was looking forward to going into Canada, because she had never been there and Moose. Thanks to an early morning road trip, they saw a moose and got to check all three items off their list! At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were watching the whales from our Ocean front camping, the history of the Vikings and the Grand Pre.

#5 - Matt & Judi - Matt was anxious to see the Bay of Fundy and Judi had never been to Canada and had an Aunt that lived in Newfoundland. They also got to see the three things they were most excited to see! At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were Hopewell Rocks, Oceanfront camping with whales, meeting the local people and the scenery.

#6 - Lou & Carol -  Were both looking forward to seeing Labrador, Prince Edward Island and moose. We were able to help them with seeing two of their three big items! The ferry and road construction stopped us from getting to Labrador. At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were the Anne of Green Gables Musical, whales, Tattoo, the campfires and the excellent guides we had.

#7 -  Jack & Ann - Jack loves to go on these Yankee trips for the fellowship. Ann wanted to see the Bay of Fundy. We got both of them covered for Jack and Ann.
At the end of the caravan, their favorite things were the whales, the Anne of Green Gables Musical and Ann's house on PEI.

#10 - Dona (she was really traveling with #4, but we gave her #10 and her own radio!) Dona wanted to see the Atlantic Provinces. We accomplished that be hitting all five!
At the end of the caravan, her favorite things were the waterfront camping and the friendships she made.

Signing off and waiting for #TheAdventuresContinue with #yankeeRVtours
